Welcome to Serengeti Zone Safaris.
The Serengeti is most recognized for hosting the Great Wildebeest Migration, even though it is home to the Big 5. Millions of wildebeest, gazelles, and zebras follow them as they search for new pastures, avoiding predators in their path, in a magnificent yearly show.
They proceed southward on their cycle across the Serengeti, then turn west, then north, into the Maasai Mara, and finally back to their starting place. There will be plenty of thrilling wildlife sightings along the way as predators are always on the lookout for their next move.
With diverse landscape that includes huge plains, rocky outcrops, meandering rivers, and woodlands, the Serengeti stage is ready for the drama to unfold.
Despite the untamed surroundings, the reserve is home to opulent lodges that are specifically intended to provide you with the greatest seat in the house to see the Serengeti’s show. There’s always something to see here, especially near the rivers and watering holes where the animals congregate to drink. The area is home to a large population of predators and a diverse array of birds. The best place to wait for action is near the water’s edge, where crocodiles and hippos are ready to pounce.
There’s always something going on in the Serengeti, whether it’s just to watch a herd of elephants cooling off or lions and crocodiles vying for food.
